FULL DAY CULTURAL HERITAGE TOURS IN IRINGA (OPTION)

• Meet at the office for the short tour orientation and registration 9:00 am
• Walk around Neema Crafts workshop (optional) 9:30 am
• Visit at Iringa Boma Region Museum about (optional) 10:00 am
• Walk around the old and new markets, learn more about tradition of Iringa including,local agriculture products, cultural food taste,local tools. Also you will be able to learn processes of preparing Tanzania local food like Ugali,potatoes and vegetables. 11:00 am
• From the Market Visit the ‘hanging tree’ memorial and have interesting stories one of the original African neighborhoods of Iringa 11:30 am
• Have lunch and short rest at the town postal garden restaurant 12:30 pm
• After rest drive out to kalenga Museum 2:00 pm
• Reach at Kalenga and visit the Museums 2:30 pm
• Have interesting stories of Hehe tribe and Chief Mkwawa against Germans from 2:30 pm At the museum you will be able to see Chief Mkwawa skull and Tombs of Hehe chiefs.

Drive back to Iringa and Check in to your accommodation at 4:00 pm (End of tour)
